Sound: Well George, Dallas and Wade were all amazing singers at the show and George and Dallas sounded exactly like they do on their albums! The instruments they used well both guitars we're Gibsons and that's what a lot of the other bands used also and Saosin used some sort of really cool looking red guitar, the drums were mostly peral and Yamaha. The bass I think were either ESP or Epiphone I'm not sure I didn't get a really good look at it because I was moshing! // 10
Perfomance: The audience enjoyed, it was one of the best shows I've ever been too if not the best show I have been too! The audience just went insane with Alexisonfire everyone was jamming, moshing, jumping, and headbanging it was all really cool to see. I'm not sure the of the order of the songs they played but I do know what songs they played:
Mailbox Arson - this was the opener and what a great way to start off the show the crowd went insane during this song and was getting pushed around and everything was perfected just fine!
This Could Be Anywhere In The World - what a brilliant song live! They played this song just like it came out of the album and George was amazing at the screaming Parts. I lost my shoe on this song!
Boiled Frogs - the guitars are what really Shine in this song with that really sweet intro! They played this song in a really cool way.
Keep It On Wax - honestly I think this is my second favourite song by Alexisonfire, everyone was singing along and having fun when this song came out and I was headbanging!
Drunks, Lovers, Sinners And Saints - the crowd went completely when they played this song! It was one of the best songs of the night!
Rough Hands - what a song! This song is a masterpiece it was mostly dedicated to the lovers in the house but we all had a pretty good time!
No Transitory - now some old stuff this song was just really cool to hear because it's the song along with Accidents that got me into AOF! Oh and Wade played the guitar Perfectly for the song!
Control - this song is just completely insane! We got such a performance out of this one and I went completely nuts!
Get Fighted - now this song was either the 3rd best they played at the concert because I just love the way that all of a sudden George screams then he goes into pretty fast talking it shows that he can sing also!
.44 Caliber Love Letter - I never thought they would play this song and they did and I was surprised when they did! It was just fun to see people having fun to it and the guitar riffs are catchy as hell and George and Wade played them perfectly.
Happines By The Kilowatt - another soft one again and they said this was gonna be their last song of the night! The song itself was just awesome to see live!
Accidents - this was their lost song because me and my friend started the whole crowd to get into this and they did and when they came to play it was the best song of the night! There was moshing everywhere and people were going crazy! This was my favourite song of the night! What a great closer.
Well the scenes decorations since it was a fest it was some guy with with really big cheeks and then black. Visual effects were mostly red, blue and green lights! // 10
Impression: The Show was at Canada in Ottawa and the arena was the blesfest and I was at the River Stage and the date of the show is July 15 2007. Since it was a bluesfest the other bands Who are all amazing by the way are Saosin(I went there becasue of them too), Poison The Well (they were amazing), Cancer Bats (hardcore). The guitarist used a lot of pinch harmonics it was sweet, Attack In Black (not so great), and The Receiving End Of Sirens Who were oaky! I loved everything about the show because all of the bands I saw as I mentioned above I went there to see Alexisonfire and Saosin mostly but then discovered Cancer Bats and Poison The Well and it was insane! I didn't hate anything about the show, it was 5 hours of fun and craziness! The ticket only cost 30$ and that's pretty low considering the fest is like insane! And hell yes the show was worth every second of the money! The Most unforgettable moments of the show was when I lost my shoe, I saw this chicks song it was sweet, and the most unforgetabble moment was when I was in the moshes it was amazing! They gave out free Beads and I caught two! Yes I will defenitely go their next gig! Saosin should be coming soon too and I just can't wait for the next time to see AOF because they are one of the best bands live! // 10
