Sound: I play rock, punk, metal, jazz and it all fits in. I'm even using a crappy amp and it still sounds good. It's a pretty good guitar in terms of sound, even though it uses Ibanez pickups instead of DiMarzio ones. It's a Jr. // 8
Action, Fit & Finish: It's clean and stuffs, but taking off the plastic on the pickguard was hell. Like any other guitar. Fret buzz occurs but they say that's repairable. // 8

Impression: I've been playing for a year, I own a Behringer amp (which came from that starter pack), I planned on buying a Les Paul Copy but when I found the Jem, I think I knew what I was going to buy. This is obviously better than the copy.P I like the whole thing, especially the pickups. It's way better than my Strat copy. If ever this dies though, I'd like to grab that JEM555. But yeah, JEM JR's a good buy. // 10
