Sound: This unauthorized documentary takes a look at singing sensation Avril Lavigne. A variety of unseen footage is included, from candid shots of Avril at home, to an in-depth interview. This is an informative and fun package for every fan. No original music by Avril Lavigne is contained on this release. If you are looking for a brief history of how Avril became famous you should buy this DVD. // 6
Content: This DVD features numerous exclusive interviews with many key players in Avril's journey to the to the top, with personal friends and colleagues from her hometown, as well as previously unseen footage of Avril both at home and at work and an exclusive personal interview. Also features many formerly unpublished early photographs of Avril taken throughout her childhood and teen years. // 4
Production Quality: The quality of the picture is like a VHS tape; old-school and at times, fuzzy. We see photos, tons of them of avril, none as stills, but no actual footage from an Avril concert or of Avril herself. // 4
Impression: This documentry style DVD is quite boring and cheesy. If you are a true Avril collector and must have everything Avril related, then you are going to buy it, regardless. Well documented disappointment due to the fact of not seeing her in live video, other bands trying to perform her songs in the background and poor quality resolution. // 4
