Richness of Content: This music book includes every Van Halen song ever made except You're No Good, due to copyright restrictions. This book has two tables of content, one organized by name, and another by album, spanning from Van Halen to The Best Of Both Worlds. In the back of the book, there is a guitar tab glossary that explains what the symbols that appear in the tab mean. Each song includes standard 5 line notation (I don't know what it really is called), lyrics with pitch, and tabliture. // 10
Style: Like I said it is written in standard notation and guitar tab. The downside is, some songs have blotchy print and small tabs. It is otherwise very similar to any guitar tab you could officially buy (whether it be online or at a store). // 8
Impression: I love the fact that it is every Van Halen song, minus one, for the price of $39.99! Considering any album book costs $24.95, this is a steal! However, like all tablature books, it is paperback, and therefore, can't take a whole ton of damage. Otherwise, it is very worthwhile, and will save at least 1186 pages of computer paper for Van Halen tabs! Note: this book is 1186 pages! // 9
