We caught up with Jani Lane, lead vocalist of Warrant, who recently reunited with his band mates to get his thoughts on performing at Rocklahoma in 2008 and building upon the festivals successful debut last year.
Jani Lane On Headlining Rocklahoma With Warrant
"I don't know where Rocklahoma came from, but obviously it's great for our kind of music. They just added a fifth night this year and there was 60,000 plus last year. It's multi cultural, multinational and it's really a spectacle. I think they're going to have over 100 bands this year and we're co-headlining Saturday night."
Famed eighties rock band Cinderella was forced to cancel its tour with Warrant and appearance at Rocklahoma due to the unforeseen occurrence of lead vocalist Tom Kiefer losing his voice due to his left vocal cord hemorrhaging. Besides mainstage acts, Rocklahoma will also feature two side stages adjacent to the main stage that will showcase over twenty-eight regional artists on each stage.
