Chili Peppers Kiedis Readying Son For The Road?

Anthony Kiedis is enjoying his time away from fronting the Red Hot Chili Peppers. He's a new dad, and he's resting at home with his son Everly Bear who was born on October 2. Kiedis says he's OK with not doing anything Red Hot Chili Peppers for now.

We asked if he'll bring his son, Everly Bear, on tour.

"Um, like he and I doing a little circus act together or something? I'll take him wherever he's comfortable going. He's kind of a part of me, so I feel pretty happy taking him wherever I go. We're going to check out the world together for sure."

He added:

"I'm so happy not to be on the road. I love being on the road, when it's time to be on the road. The timing worked out perfectly for me to be home from birth to now, so I feel lucky about that."

Kiedis has admitted that surfing helps him channel his energy so he can be a better father.

It's good to see that he's enjoying time off. Hopefully it won't be TOO long before RHCP put out another album though.

That was just you. They said they aren't going to do anything for at least a year as of last september, but even that is just the minimum. They aren't scheduled to go into the studio and even after the year is up, they're gonna see where everyone's at and how everyone's feeling
