Bon Jovi Fan Sues For Injuries, Lost Highway Stretches Overseas

A Bon Jovi fan is suing for over 13 million dollars for damages and injuries sustained when a man landed on him during a show last July in Edmonton, Alberta, according to CanWest News Service. In the suit the fan, Dennis Rainer Schulz, is suing multiple plaintiffs for the sum, claiming the injuries left him a paraplegic. Early reports claim Bon Jovi proper is not named in the suit, but it names the beer vendor, the promoter, the venue, the individuals behind Shulz that started fighting and the motor company that supplied those individuals with tickets as those responsible.

Meanwhile, Bon Jovi just finished their initial run in the United States. in support of their latest effort Lost Highway, and the band talked about heading back up to Canada and traveling to the rest of the world.

"We're going to follow it up across Canada, then we go to Japan, Australia, New Zealand, back to the [United] States for a full run across the country, not just the state [of New Jersey], and then across all of Europe before we come back yet again in the summertime for a stadium run. So we're here to announce the Lost Highway tour, which will take us around the globe. I think it's about 95 shows, and it will run from now to July 31."

Bon Jovi also talked about their album debuting at Number One and having it be accepted by many different fans and musical formats.

"So for us this is that kind of an album. It's something that we can really wrap our arms around and feel that we can perform the entire thing any night. It's great that it was a Number One record here and around the globe, but also that it was accepted at different formats of radio and people aren't pigeonholing the record. It's not only on rock radio, but it's on country."

Bon Jovi's tour will resume December 6 in Toronto, Ontario, and they'll travel to New Zealand and Australia in January. Meanwhile, Jon Bon Jovi has denied rumors that he will be running for Governor of his home state of New Jersey.

it was a BON JOVI SHOW what moshpit? I seen them a few years back and it was so tame that you couldn't even light up a cigarette. Good show though, still lots of energy, but moshing?
