Currently backing their first live album and accompanying concert DVD, alt-rockers My Morning Jacket have sketched out a two-week trek that includes a New Year's Eve show at San Francisco's Fillmore Auditorium.
The outing, which kicks off Dec. 29 in San Francisco, will encompass 12 dates in nine cities and run through a two-night engagement in Denver beginning Jan. 12. R&B act Elvis Perkins will offer opening support for most shows during the trek. The group also announced that it will be playing a slot during all three days of the March 09-11 Langerado music festival in South Florida.
My Morning Jacket's recent concert recording, dubbed "Okonokos," hit stores Sept. 26. The two-disc set -- mixed by Michael Brauer (Bob Dylan, Coldplay) and mastered by engineer Bob Ludwig -- features 21 tracks. The full tracklisting is available at the band's official website.
