The undisputed kings (and queens) of shoegaze, My Bloody Valentine, are scheduled to make their first US appearance in 16 years at the All Tomorrow's Parties Festival in Upstate New York. The festival is going to be held from September 19th to the 21st at Kutshers Country Club in Monticello, New York.
In addition to the first confirmed My Bloody Valentine show, the festival will also feature a number of artists performing classic albums in their entirety. Built To Spill will be performing "Perfect From Now On" while Thurston Moore, of Sonic Youth, will be playing his solo album "Psychic Hearts". The line-up also includes the Scottish band Mogwai and the Steve Albini fronted Shellac. Full line-up bellow.
Tickets are expected to cost $225 plus booking fees and they go on sale this Friday.
