Coldplay Announce UK Arena Tour

Coldplay have announced full details of a UK tour, set to take place this winter.

The group, who release their fourth album 'Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends' on June 12, will play ten arena dates in December.

The tour kicks off with two nights at Birmingham NIA on December 1, before the group end their trip with a two-night stint at London's O2 Arena, beginning on December 14.

The group also made their album's title track available on iTunes on Sunday (May 25), following the earlier release of 'Violet Hill', the vinyl version coming free with NME last month.

Coldplay will perform at:

12/01 - Birmingham NIA
12/05, 06 - Glasgow SECC
12/07 - Sheffield Arena
12/10 - Liverpool Echo Arena
12/11,12 - Manchester MEN Arena
12/14, 15 - London O2 Arena

They have already announced their US tour and ticket sales have already come and gone for most of the initial venues.

+1! I may go see them on one of their dates in Glasgow methinks... I don't actually like them too much but there's always a good atmosphere at their shows.

Arena tours always used to include Wembley Arena Now it seems they all go to the o2 instead.
