Arch Enemy: Japan Tour

In March 2008, Arch Enemy will be touring Japan supported by Shadows Fall.

Guitarist Michael Amott has posted the following comments on the band's website:

"It feels great to announce the 2008 Japan headline tour which we are calling... "Tyrants Of The Rising Sun"! This band loves touring Japan and even after countless visits under our belts we are still ecstatic about this next venture to the land in the east. The "Rise Of The Tyrant" album has performed phenomenally in Japan and is our fastest selling album there in the history of the band. Our recent performances at the amazing Loud Park festivals in Tokyo and Osaka is fresh in our memories and we are anxious to return! We'll be working hard at putting together a special and memorable show for our Japanese fans. See you in March!"

Tour dates are as follows:

03/07 - Kawasaki, Club Citta'
03/08 - Tokyo, Shinkiba Studio Coast
03/10 - Nagoya, Club Diamond Hall
03/11 - Osaka, Namba Hatch

THEY WERE JUST AT THE STATES EARLIER THIS YEAR, AROUND OCT, I WAS THERE AND THEY PLAYED WITH MACHINE HEAD. SO I DOUBT THEY WILL COME BACK TO THE STATES ANYTIME SOON....THO I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THEM AGAIN AT A BETTER VENUE. =)

Say them last month, they are ****ing wicked! And .arkness:. her screaming like that is a turnon xD

But I'm not really feeling their new album, great guitarplaying, great playing overall, but there is no real song or songs that explode from the album, it's all just a bit the same... Still a good album, but not great.

Japan? damnit, Arch Enemy needs to come to Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. We just had Ozzy come for the first time though, so maybe I am still dreaming... It took ozzy 4098989 years to get here, al the folks from Arch Enemy will probably croak before they get the chance...
