Oasis: 'Dig Out Your Soul' Details

After much speculation the track listing for upcoming seventh Oasis album "Dig Out Your Soul" has had it's track listing released. All four members contribute tracks. The songs include:

01. "Bag It Up" (Noel Gallagher)
02. "The Turning" (Andy Bell)
03. "Waiting for the Rapture" (Noel Gallagher)
04. "The Shock of the Lightning" (Noel Gallagher)
05. "I'm Outta Time" (Liam Gallagher)
06. "(Get Off Your) High Horse Lady" (Gem Archer)
07. "Falling Down" (Noel Gallagher)
08. "To Be Where There's Life" (Noel Gallagher)
09. "Ain't Got Nothin" (L. Gallagher)
10. "The Nature of Reality" (Noel Gallagher)
11. "Soldier On" (L. Gallagher)

Single "The Shock Of The Lightning" is due to be released on the 29th September 2008. The artwork features an original piece of art by London-based designer Julian House. The artwork can be seen here.

The album is rumoured to sound "huge" and is rumoured to have Oasis back on top form.

I think it sucks that they give credits to whom wrote the song, it's a band they are supposed to share the credits... but well whatever they must be hardcore capitalists...

i'm excited about it. hopefully they can deliver, ever sence their fourth album, things have kind of been goin downhill. still good music, but not anything like it used to be. i'm going to buy it regardless though, i love oasis.

dude, they do that with every album ever made, they always list the person who wrote it. why shouldn't they get credit? they get more money for it.
i also think they did that to show who wrote them, because its almost new for oasis for other members to be writting songs, where it used to be just noel.

Srsly, I did hear a rumour about some sort of explosion in the studio, but they said it was just a fuse or something... but that is a prominent part of the cover, a mushroom explosion! And a bit out of the apple, to me I think that's what one's face would look like if one was caught in a blast...

Anyway, I love Oasis and what they did for music. They were the most interesting thing for a while during the latter part of the 90s. They seem to be cool to hate like Michael Jackson but.. I could never hate either. They're both super talented.

i like oasis but i'm not looking forward to this album too much. i'm afraid i have to agree with the 'oasis albums get progressively worse' theorum. should still have some good tracks on it though and hopefully it'll prove me wrong and be on par with the first two.

I don't think it's really that. Lennon/McCartney had a legal deal even though clearly Lennon wrote some and McCartney wrote others. If someone writes a song and the other band members don't I don't think they should get credit.
