Canadian sensation Farewell To Freeway has announced they will be embarking on tour with Victory Records Emmure. The band is currently touring in support of their recently released Year of the Sun album, “In These Wounds”.
Since their inception, Farewell To Freeway has emerged as one of the hottest bands in the Canadian scene. Their unique brand of post-hardcore runs through a gamut of emotions, engulfing listeners in rage one moment and bringing them to an emotional edge the next. The band manages to effortlessly meld devastating breakdowns with pop catching melody into one explosive package.
Having completed seven full fledged Canadian tours as well as playing with some of the biggest bands like Underoath, Hopesfall, Alexisonfire, Misery Signals, Silverstein, Protest The Hero, The Black Maria and Eighteen Visions, Farewell To Freeway are no longer Canada’s best kept musical secret. Recently the band was chosen to have a song included on The Best Of Taste of Chaos 2 compilation album featuring Every Time I Die, Underoath, Thursday, Unearth and others.
Alternative Press Magazine recently chose Farewell To Freeway as one of the “Top Unsigned Bands” for feature for an upcoming issue of the long standing magazine. This in addition to the group’s appearance on the recently released The Best Of Taste Of Chaos 2 compilation album featuring Every Time I Die, Underoath, Thursday, Unearth and others.
