Napalm Death Shot Video For 2-Seconds-Long Track

Grindcore inventors Napalm Death have posted an unusual video for their infamous sub-2-second song, "You Suffer." The video, along with a full length DVD documentary will accompany the upcoming reissue of their landmark album, Scum.

The album was originally released in 1987 and established the sound of grindcore as a blazing fast combination of thrash metal and hardcore punk.

The album featured Justin Broadrick who later founded both Godflesh and Jesu, drummer Mick Harris who also played in Extreme Noise Terror and went on to form dub/industrial outfit Scorn.

The song in question "You Suffer" is in the Guiness Book of World Records as the shortest ever track, clocking in at exactly 1.316 seconds.

your right. i just started reading "choosing death" which is a history of death metal and grindcore, very interesting. apparently, at one of there very early shows the crowd demanded they play the song over and over, which would be pretty hilareous.

Not a huge Napalm fan, like some of their stuff though. I believe they do play this song live, and there's a couple of bands who even do a cover of it

wow, everyone here thinks that this is so cool, am i the only one that sees it as totally retarded? yea, it is original indeed, but if i do a pinch harmonic and scream "oh yea" while my bassist hits a C#, and the drummer hits the snare once, would that constitute as a song?

i remember seeing them last february.. the singer asked for drugs and this girl was like "ive got some weed with me" and the singer of napalm death goes "maybe you didnt hear me, i said drugs. that means ****ing pills, ****ing coke, or crack, weed is for pussies"
and im fairly sure he wasnt kidding because he was shaking on stage like a parkinsons victom
