The digipack version of Tiamat's new album, "Amanethes", will contain the exclusive bonus track "Thirst Snake".
The cover artwork for "Amanethes", can be viewed at HeavyLaw.com. Due in Germany on April 18 via Nuclear Blast Records, the CD was produced by Johan Edlund, recorded mainly at The Mansion in Greece, and additionally recorded at Studio Mega in Sweden and Cue in Greece. The album was mixed and mastered by Siggi Bemm in Woodhouse Studios, Germany in January 2008.

Tiamat's last studio album, "Prey", was released in 2003 through Century Media.
According to Metalfan.ro, Tiamat is the first confirmed band for Artmania Festival 2008, set to take place July 18-19 in Sibiu, Romania.
The 2007 edition of Artmania festival featured performances by such acts as WITHIN TEMPTATION, MY DYING BRIDE, ANATHEMA, TAROT, THE GATHERING and AFTER FOREVER.
