More information has surfaced about Rebel Meets Rebel's upcoming appearance on the nationally syndicated radio show "Rockline", which is scheduled for today, April 24.
Rebel Meets Rebel is the project featuring three of the founding members of Pantera (drummer Vinnie Paul, guitarist "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott and bassist Rex Brown) together with legendary country singer/outlaw David Allan Coe. The live show begins at 8:30 p.m. PT / 11:30 p.m. ET, and fans are encouraged to call in with questions during the program at (800) 344-ROCK (7625). According to a posting on the "Rockline" web site, the show will allow listeners to talk with Vinnie Paul and David Allan Coe and will also let them hear Dimebag's voice again. During the middle of the show, "Rockline" will feature selected segments of previous "Rockline" appearances with Vinnie and Dime while they were in Pantera and Damageplan. The show will also feature an audio clip from the upcoming "DimeVision" DVD as Dime speaks from the heart about music, passion and how the two are forever intertwined.
The video for the first single, "Nothin' To Lose", from the upcoming self-titled debut from Rebel Meets Rebel has been posted online at this location. The song starts off with the sounds of David and Dimebag playing slot machines, and then you hear the awesome crunch of that classic Dimebag groove.
