Busted Stay At Number One

NME reports, Busted are at the top of the official singles chart yesterday night (08/08) for the second week in a row. The band remain at number one with ’Thunderbirds Are Go’/’3am’, keeping The Streets at number two with ’Dry Your Eyes’ and Shapeshifters at three with ’Lola’s Theme’.

Red Hot Chili Peppers’ ’Live In Hyde Park’ remains at the top of the album charts, with The Streets' ’A Grand Don’t Come For Free’ sticking at two.

The streets are cool, and avril lavigne is quite livable with in the charts. The rest are pretty shite, D12 are average but its nothing new or flashy

Busted DO deserve it - they're a good band who have worked hard to get where they are (I've supported them from the start, so I do know), unlike MCFLY, who got a two-week number one after doing fk all.

I like Busted, I don't give a crap if they're not hugely talented or hugely hardcore. It's fun pop music, and if you can't listen to something because it's pop, I pity you. Who cares if they're not amazing guitarists, they're catchy simple pop songs, and that's all they're made to be.

why do busted deserve it? there are plenty of existant 'catchy pop songs', and what annoys people is the fact that there are only 8 chords that these 'pop songs' ever use because they never go off the major scale... that is why...

also they don't write their own songs (or so i hear). a record dealer prob saw that they are prob 3 good looking people that they could use to sell records, is that deserving? i hate punk, but there are bands that slave away in pubs with their own material. that, my friend, is more deserving...

Of course the charts suck nowadays. But if they'd be all Punk, Metal aka good music it would suck too. I'm sick of seeing 12 years old fashion punks with jackets, boots, buttons ( the most ridiculous thing since since 70's haircut) worth about 140$. If punk gets "hip" it would be over.

No he's not Damon is the drummer and Matt plays the bass.... But Matt is taking drumming lessons so maybe sometimes... It is true that Charlie drums... He did it for a few years and took lessons and stuff... But it's a pity that Damon is never in a picture or poster... He's cool... =)
