A copy of the Rolling Stones ‘Black And Blue’ album, which has been signed by the band as well as members of the Beatles, is expected to fetch upwards of £5,000 at auction.
The album, which also includes signatures from Yoko Ono and Linda McCartney, was originally bought by a Derbyshire man for just £3.
It’s thought that the album was signed to celebrate the arrival of Ronnie Wood, who joined the band in the same year as a replacement to Mick Taylor.
Alan Judd, the manager of Bamfords Auctioneers, where the album will go under the hammer on February 20th, said he was sure the signatures were genuine.
"There was all that time after Brian Jones died where the Rolling Stones didn't really have a replacement,” Judd told the BBC.
"Then Ronnie Wood came along and that was the moment the band was really back together as a full group.
"I think they were all together for a celebration, a really seminal moment."
