ledfilly :
these suck, plus the first lick is an old jazz tune

strumntheguitar :
BU means bend up i'm assuming.

Theses are decent blues licks, but they're way too short i think. but they're easy to branch off of

deslni01 :
People don't understand that posting a few licks and not even completing a paragraph (let alone a sentence) does not constitute a lesson. This is not a lesson, this is a tab. If there was some information being told about the licks, for example, it'd improve it. If it explained what is going on with the licks, or why they are "blues" licks, it would help people learn blues.

If I were to create a lesson titled "How to play awesome solos" and then copied the Stairway and Comfortable Numb solos into it, without hardly any words, would you count that as a lesson? Would that help you learn how to solo? Hardly - it'd just help you know someone elses solo, not how it is constructed, why it flows the way it does, or anything at all.

I'm sorry for this long rant, but people are too concerned about putting their stuff up so people know who they are. It doesn't matter who you are or what you do; half-assed lessons and articles are useless and a waste of time.

Well des I wonder if you can explaina a guitar lesson as good as you can b*** s**t, any way consenses say most people appreciate the tab but hey I guess you are a guitar guru and need no base to give you and idea, Well I say you post a lesson in your words and comments and leave out the copy and pastes and lets see what reviews you recieve, after all most songs, runs and riffs are copied after each other in some way shape or form arent they, I say power to the people trying. Not to the ones criticizing.

The blues is a style that doesn't always sound 'right' to some people. This is a lesson to open your ear to the style of blues, and it does just that. Nothing more, nothing less.

It seems as if this relation to "Blues Ear" is teaching beginners the "Ear" to sensing Blues
